Curiosity is an essential leadership skill because it leads to both knowledge and understanding. We begin with curiosity because it helps us bridge to compassion, courage, critical thinking and problem-solving. As we explore themes of leadership around curiosity, you will explore
- what it means to be curious + how it leads to leadership
- how curious change-makers changed the world
- how curiosity helps you spot problems or opportunities
- how curiosity helps solve problems
We do this with story, a fun taste test and more!
- join the characters in the taste test
- conduct a taste test with 3 friends, neighbors or family members
- use curiosity to spot a problem in your community (family / school / team / religious institute / neighborhood)
- use curiosity to explore how you can be a change-maker
This level 1 leadership includes an introduction to the characters and the village of Redwood Creek, story featuring the characters as they learn about curiosity, question prompts for participants and a guide for caregivers.
