Our leadership program is unique in its approach to focusing on foundational core skills at the outset of the program. We offer children a chance to learn and integrate these skills into their real-world experience.
When you’re learning something new, it helps to lay a foundation. For example, when you learn to play baseball, you start with hitting the ball from a tee, running to the bases and learning to catch. Once you have core skills, you can build in the complexities.
We take that approach to leadership. Instead of assigning a leadership role or passively expecting a child to pick up the necessary skills, we intentionally define and explore skills that are proven to be critical skills in leadership.
